But Thank you for the encouraging post! And yes, reading peoples posts about eliminating carpet beetles online has been very discouraging. Wishing everyone a bug free 2018JBnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3576301823371499437.post-92204965108147816092017-12-05T22:20:27.748-05:002017-12-05T22:20:27.748-05:00Hi. I am so glad to find some "carpet beetle ...Hi. I am so glad to find some "carpet beetle friends" in the middle of my own carpet beetle nightmare. I found it was raining in my bedroom to boot, with a puddle of water in my jewelry sorter; which in turn I found to contain a carpet beetle among the newly rusted jewelry. I was inspecting one carpet beetle molting, when first making this discovery, and found my molting was not a molting--- it began to move while inspecting it. Totally flipped me out. Merry Christmas from Michigan. cchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17319306881065720279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3576301823371499437.post-84813629412533334722017-06-09T22:19:54.324-04:002017-06-09T22:19:54.324-04:00Hi Janet, so glad you'll be joining us! However, we can also sell & print you a copy if needed.

As far as needles, I recommend:
Size US 3 US (3.25 mm) 32" circular
Size US 6 US (4 mm) 24-32" circular

OR the size to get about 6 stitches to the inch on the larger needle. (The smaller size is for nice neat garter edging, the larger for the body fabric.)

You're welcome to purchase yarn the day of, if you'd like input on what colors to put together. OR if you want to cast on at the party on Sunday, I'd recommend buying your yarn early and swatching so you can jump right in!

And if you run into any other questions before you get started, I'm always happy to chat about them on Sunday! :)
Cory Ellen Boberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03501301230785362146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3576301823371499437.post-33770773444414244662017-06-09T21:35:36.105-04:002017-06-09T21:35:36.105-04:00Oh, sweet! On top of all that, my husband thinks I'm imagining things. One thing you didn't talk about, that I am finding the hardest, is how to co-exist in a house that is midstream in the "war" effort. I spent almost two hours in an effort to get into a bug-free bed, pajamas, etc.. I vacuumed, even ironed my sheets and pillowcase, and and extra one to wear as a hair protector, I even ironed my pillow. I must be allergic to the microscopic eggs that have been spread all over the house by our 8 year old, who likes to roll around on the floor and then give bear hugs. I am just praying that when we go to my parents' for Christmas eve, we don't bring any with us. It is tough being the "leader" of the war effort, when nobody else is that concerned. And you're right, cleaning 8 hours a day, for several days straight is really exhausting. On the positive side, my desire to downsize/get rid of stuff has shifted into high gear. Another plus, is that the "arctic vortex" is in town, here in Wisconsin, and I plan on freezing the hell out of most eery thing that won't fit into a washer. I am hoping that the exterminator, whom my husband doesn't think we need, will have a non-toxic option that will help seal our victory over bugs, clutter and full-time cleaning. Your post has given me the "moral support" that seems to be lacking in this campaign.

I haven't even talked about my yarn! I think I might toss some of the UFOs that are decades old. FREEDOM!!! New yarn will be my reward! And frankly, I don't want a stash anymore. Just, yarn on demand!!

Happy holidays to you, in 2016!
Mary Eliz.Humanities_excitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08506407677395069895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3576301823371499437.post-55605886852009149582016-11-29T19:50:13.854-05:002016-11-29T19:50:13.854-05:00Lovely pieces :)Lovely pieces :)Turbohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11086953373335697307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3576301823371499437.post-10366664074610889562016-11-03T05:47:03.931-04:002016-11-03T05:47:03.931-04:00Such a lovely story and what a pretty top! <3
