Outfit Post: Mondo Meets the Flintstones

IMG_0319

Who knows what I was thinking with this one.  I think it started with grabbing a grey dress, then trying to figure out how to funk it up - it's a plain scoop-neck sleeveless dress, so I like to wear something interesting over it.  Then I started thinking Mondo.  Crazy prints, crazy colors, lots of black and neon.  I was also trying to do something a little less boring with my hair.  Usually I either wear it down or in a loose bun.  Snore.  I got the idea from this tutorial on the ballerina bun, but taken very, very loosely.

The one drawback?  This updo made my head hurt.  I took it down right before I drove home and was not pleased with the sensation.  It's probably just because my hair is so heavy, but it was enough to make me not want to do it again.  Otherwise, this outfit was really comfortable - apparently I've been all about that lately!
