Last Sunday was one of the first, glorious days of spring break, and to celebrate, I went out to brunch and then came home and spent the rest of the day napping.
So, some may have noticed that my photos are looking a little different, like I haven't been balancing my camera on top of random posts and my bookbag. And that is because they are being taken by this young man, who I have been dating for a little while now:
Henceforth, he shall be called Lumberjack, for his excellent scruffiness and flannel-wearing abilities.
The dolphin is Rosy, and she is the reigning Master of Everything 'round these parts.
Back to the outfit:
Striped shirt: Noblu
Green silk skirt: thrifted, originally from The Limited
Combat Boots: J Shoes Cadet (on major sale right now!)
Ladder Necklace: Made in Life, bought at Kyoto flea market
Aqua Earrings: super, super old, bought when I was sixteen
Purple Faux Suede Belt: thrifted

The tunic is a brand I've never heard of, called Noblu - it's a really comfortable material, and has amazing drape. It's like the best pair of pajamas you've ever owned, but nice enough to wear out. In the future, I'm thinking skinny jeans and kickass heels. Sadly I haven't been able to find a web presence, but if I find anything I'll put it up!
I'd also like to plug J Shoes like woah. I have two pairs of boots from them - one pair of brown combat boots, and one high heeled brown boot with gorgeous leatherwork on the side. They are some of the most beautifully made and comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I could wear my combat boots every day happily, and I like to pair them with little floral dresses for a bit of kickiness.
Blah blah blah clothes. I'll be back soon with more yarn-related posts.
Happy weekend!
